Prof. Dr. Xiaofeng Wang received her PhD from University of Bath, UK. Before joining Unibz, she worked in Lero, the Irish Software Engineering Research Centre as a postdoc. She has more than 10 years of experience in agile and lean software development research, both in academia and with industry, including several multiple-international corporates. She is actively publishing in both software engineering and information systems venues, including IEEE Software, Journal of Systems and Software, Information Systems Research, etc. She is also active in serving various conferences. She has experience in working on national and European projects.

Prof. Dr. Christoph Stöckmann is a full professor of entrepreneurship and digital transformation at the Free University of Bolzano. After studying business informatics, he received his doctoral degree (summa cum laude) from the University of Duisburg-Essen (Germany) with a thesis on entrepreneurial management in companies in the ICT industry in 2009. In 2018, he received his habilitation degree in business administration from the University of Duisburg-Essen. From 2018 to 2022 he was a full professor of innovation and entrepreneurship, esp. digital business at Seeburg Castle University (Austria). From 2019 to 2022 he was also the rector of the university, until he joined the Free University of Bolzano in 2022.

I’m a Web Entrepreneur and Consultant, born as a UI/UX and Frontend developer, expert in helping to create and manage tech teams.

I am the research lead of GENESIS and a postdoctoral research fellow at the Faculty of Engineering, Free University of Bozen-Bolzano. My current research focuses on investigating the potential of GenAI to support early-stage software startups. I hold a PhD in Informatics from the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, Italy. I also earned European Master’s degrees from two renowned institutions specializing in Software Engineering, along with a bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering from Pakistan. My previous research focused on empirical software engineering and software startups, with interests in GenAI for software engineering, information monitoring, and analytics for software startups. I have contributed to several scientific conferences and journals, including Evaluation and Assessment in Software Engineering, Empirical Software Engineering and Measurement, Software Business, IEEE Access, and Information and Software Technology.

Frédéric Pattyn, co-founder and Principal Product Manager of NOWJOBS, holds a Master’s in Strategic Management and an Executive MBA. He has over a decade of experience driving product strategy and scaling innovative software solutions in tech startups. Along being a board member at several startups, he’s also currently pursuing a PhD at Ghent University on product management in software startup, where for both he brings deep expertise in entrepreneurship and product management.

Marlene Klotz bridges the gap between academia and business, translating academic approaches into real-world solutions. As an entrepreneur and co-founder in the food industry, she combines hands-on experience with a strong academic foundation. With a Master’s in Entrepreneurship & Innovation Management and three years of research in social and deep tech entrepreneurship, she has contributed to publications and courses. Her expertise lies in entrepreneurship and product-market fit.

Triando is an experienced project manager, technical lead, and researcher with a strong background in software development, agile methodologies, and digital platform management. With expertise in backend technologies like Java, PHP, and Node.js, as well as cloud infrastructures such as AWS, GCP, and Azure, he has successfully led multiple government and enterprise projects. Holding dual Master’s degrees in Software ngineering from the University of Oulu and the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, he combines technical proficiency with strategic project execution.
